Is has always been pleasant to be at the Pudel club shows and living so close to the fields we decided to go this year. We decided to "dust of" Effi and take just her with us this time.

After brushing teeth and peeling a bit of the coat, looking twice if everything was in the car, we took of. It was just Effi and I alone this time and I looked forward to a day of our own.

The day started with some clouds and it was a bit windy. Believe me when telling you that a lots of bad words was spoken before I alone could get the show tent up. Finally the tent was deeply rooted into the ground not to flow away. "Our" judge for today was Sofia Törlöv, for me totally unknown judge. Exciting!

We entered the ring as dog number six. Effi showed an charming, juvenile side with elegant movements, as usually. We got honor prize and welcome back to the BOB-finals.
Just before eleven o'clock Vajert Lizzy, Effis daughter came down, and my mother with her two boxers. The wind and clouds increasing during the day and it was really nice the times the sun could shine thought the clouds. (At least for us people.)

They day was almost ending and after BOB, BIG, BIS puppy and BIS veteran the adults BOB was to come.

Effi got the BOB before Lizzy and my mother´s boxer took BOB as well. It is about here most of the shows is stopped if you got an Laekenois. (Well, except for Vajert Qinza of course!) We, who got this breed, use to enter the group finals with the words; - At least we are showing that the breed are existing, but this time the story do not ends here! In the group final Effi got the first place. Jipiie!!

To the BIS-finals the were two judges. The other judge of the day, Ulla Hägglund, and ours. Together they had 10 dogs (the first in each group) to choose from. I gave the judges a quick gimps and got the feeling that they did not even bather to look at Effi! They was talking about the dog before and behind us that much I could tell by looking at them, but I could not see if they liked Effi or not. Then they started to say thank you to some of the finalist and my astonishment was very big when it was only five dogs left. WOW, we will be BIS-5 today!

The placing started and dog after dog got their place, only two dogs left, Effi and a very nice Golden Retriver. Do not ask me who the other finalist was because I can not remember! At this time everything was like vacuum. My Concentration was at the Golden Retriver, Effi and the judges. After two laps their minds was made up!
